I received some good news tonight - Emma has reached six pounds! She is 6 lbs, 2 1/2 ounces, to be more precise. In less than one week, she has put on over 140 grams. The doctor reported to me that she was getting fat. That may not be true, but the weight is truly good news. If she will indeed need surgery, the bigger she is, the better she will fare.

I just want to offeryou my hugs. I found you from a comment you left on my blog in my post on 9/11. Anyway, God led me to go ahead and come over. I just read all of your posts on Emma. She is your miracle. I have my own, with a much shorter NICU stay, but still the raw emotions, and so forth that you describe I went through. I will be praying for you and your family and expecially baby Emma. May your NICU and hospital days be short and your days with Emma home be forever. In Christian Love,
